• THERMORE ECO DOWN padding used in the Peg Perego Igloo and Vario has been tested by independent labs in accordance with the ASTM  D 1518 (Thermal Transmittance of Textile Material) obtaining a  3.96 CLO, therefore approximately 4 CLO, which is the maximum thermal insulation value for clothing. This means that THERMORE ECO DOWN provides high warmth and prevents heat loss even at very cold temperatures.
• The CLO unit is defined as the amount of clothing required by a resting subject to be comfortable. For example: 1 CLO value corresponds  to the insulation value of clothing needed to maintain a resting individual comfortable at a room temperature of 70 degrees F,  with less than 50% humidity and air movement of 0.1 m/s, that is a person typically wearing a business suit.
